About Us

Cielo Vista is located in the city of Rancho Santa Margarita, educating students from transitional-kindergarten through 6th grade. Cielo Vista opened its doors in 1991. The mission of Cielo Vista Elementary School is to celebrate each student and promote excellence through a safe learning community that empowers each student to achieve success and centers on respect for all aspects of the learning program. At Cielo Vista students will become:

Technology is an integral part of Cielo Vista. They have interactive boards in every classroom, one-to-one devices, in grades two to six, and are currently changing out computer lab into a STEM and robotics space for students. Cielo Vista is proud to be a certified AVID school where they prepare all students to succeed in a global society.

Cielo Vista begins each day with recognition, announcements and patriotism. The students follow the "HAWK" way and work hard to become college and career ready. Teachers focus on intentional lesson design, engaging strategies and developing innovative practices that create successful students. Cielo Vista fosters collaboration, creativity, communication and critical thinking. In addition, there are many opportunities to prepare students for leadership roles such as Student Council, PAL and Team Kids.
