Mission Crossfit provides memberships, special class times and Crossfit training free of charge to Silverado High School students. Silverado Principal David Gordon meets with each prospective student Crossfit member and explains the expectations of the Crossfit program.
Mission Crossfit expects the student members to be committed to the program. Classes are scheduled for Silverado High School students on Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting at 1:30, right after school gets out. Students who become Crossfit members are expected to attend all three class meetings every week. Silverado also expects student members to be model students who have excellent attendance, good grades, and no discipline issues. Members who meet attendance goals at Mission Crossfit earn rewards like shirts, shoes, hoodies, jackets and more. Silverado High School is very proud to have a community partner like Mission Crossfit.
On Saturday, April 26, 2014 some of our Crossfit students participated in the Crossfit Beast League Competition at Cerritos College. Crossfit athletes from all over the southland competed in a series of events competing against individuals in their age groups.
