ASB

Associated Student Body

This is our 17th year with an active ASB student council. Our ASB or Student Council is made up of two student representatives per each of Esperanza's homeroom classes. Each year we hold ASB student elections in September in which all students participate in the nominations and elections. Our student council help plan themes and decorate for dances. In the past we have partnered with student groups from Capo Valley, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo High School and La Paz Intermediate. We look forward to an exciting 2017-2018 school year with new events and past traditions! Check out our twitter feed @esperanzaeagles for pictures and updates on ASB events.

Pancake Breakfast

The Annual Esperanza Pancake Breakfast Event is a fundraiser that is sponsored by the Esperanza PTA and the Mission Viejo Rotary Club. This money raised at this event enables us to purchase equipment and technology that directly benefits our students. Past event proceeds have gone toward purchasing five passenger vans to access the community, a sensory playground for students, and SMART projectors for each teacher. In 2016, we completed our two-year goal of raising enough money to purchase a wheelchair-accessible bus to enable more access to the community for our students. This year we are using our funds to purchase specialized equipment for our classrooms. Join our PTA and help decide what the 2018 Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser should focus on! Call our front office for information on joining PTA at (949) 830-5470 or email our Membership Chair, Kristin Bartus, at kristin.bartus@svusd.org.

Yearbook

Mr. Bunyan is taking over this year as our Yearbook Advisor. If there is a fun event happening at school you can be sure Mr. B is there capturing all of the wonderful memories. More information coming soon on how to purchase the 2017-2018 yearbook.
