BASKETBALL LEAGUE (Pre-Registration is required) Start Dates: Fri, Oct 8th, Sat, Oct 9th Sun, Oct 10th Location: RSM Intermediate (Fri D,Sun D,DD) Serrano Intermediate (Fri DD, Sat D, DD) Early Bird Fee: $75/ 7 games, includes uniform Regular Fee: $85 (After Sept 27th) League emphasizes skill development, participation and fun! Hoops are lowered to 8 feet and junior basketballs are used. The first 30 minutes consist of practicing fundamentals followed by 30 minutes of game play. Games begin Oct 15th, Oct 16th, Oct 17th. Uniforms and schedules are distributed on Orientation Day. Saturday and Sunday games are played between 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Friday night games are played between 5:30-7:30 p.m. Times are determined by gym availability and number of teams in each division. Same team/coaches requests are NOT guaranteed and must be made no later than the TUESDAY prior to the scheduled orientation. In addition, these classes are a great way to prepare your child for our other beginning sports programs as they get older. No score is kept and parent participation is encouraged. WILD WORLD OF SPORTS This class combines fun, participation and the basic fundamentals of a variety of sports. Players will be introduced to t-ball, soccer, basketball and flag football. The final day of class will be a “player vs. parents” t-ball game! This is the perfect opportunity for your child to try each sport at an early age.
