Advanced Technologies in Manufacturing (ATM) is an academy program that places an emphasis on manufacturing, architecture, and in solid modeling 3-D digital designs.
Advanced Placement courses are offered in a variety of subjects. Students earn credit and/or placement at most colleges and universities in the U.S., as well as colleges and universities in more than 40 other countries, through qualifying AP Exam Scores.
Algebra AIP is a program designed for students who enter El Toro not yet proficient in Algebra I pre-requisite skills. Students are given the opportunity to enroll in Algebra I provided they concurrently enroll in a support program.

The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) emphasizes high standards of scholarship and community service for California high school students.
ECP is a program designed to provide students in the academic top the opportunity to meet IGETC requirements while earning their high school diploma. Students are enrolled at Irvine Valley College (IVC) concurrently.
Freshman Academic Advantage (FAA) is an innovative program designed for students who have shown academic potential in their grades and test scores, but have not demonstrated consistent academic success in both of these areas of measurement.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program is a challenging two-year curriculum, primarily aimed at students aged 16 to 19. It leads to a qualification that is widely recognized by the world's leading universities. Mr. Skidmore is the program's coordinator.
The Scholastic Journalism Program is coordinated by CJE Mrs. Schaeffer. The school's newspaper, yearbook, and broadcast programs have been honored on numerous ocassions. Most recently, the newspaper has won the Crown Award and the Pacemaker Award.
Model United Nations is a program designed to provide an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about civics, effective communications.
