Boosters (IMPB)

WHO ARE THE ETHS INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC AND PAGEANTRY BOOSTERS?

If you have a child in the orchestra, symphonic band, wind ensemble, marching band/color guard, winter guard, winter percussion, or jazz band you are a member of the Instrumental Music and Pageantry Boosters.

WHAT IS THE ETHS IMPB?

The ETHS IMPB is a registered 501 (c) 3, non - profit organization.  Due to cutbacks in the school districts throughout California, the Saddleback Valley Unified School District is only able to provide 0.5% of the $197,000 operating budget of the El Toro High School Instrumental Music and Color Guard Programs.  In order to continue to provide your child with coaches, new music, competition entry fees, and equipment/repairs we rely on the Instrumental Music and Pageantry Boosters to fund 99.5% of the expenses associated with operating these programs. Your financial and volunteer support of the Instrumental Music and Pageantry Boosters is the only way we can continue to provide your child with a well rounded and fulfilling musical experience.

How is the IMPB affiliated with El Toro High School?

The ETHS IMPB is an independent non-profit organization; however, all parent booster clubs who fundraise, solicit donations, and provide volunteers for various student activities are required to follow the Saddleback Valley Unified School District's Booster Club Guidelines and annually register with the school site's administration in order to continue being recognized as a parent booster club, by the school district.  Like wise all fundraisers require school site approval, before they are presented to the students.  The instrumental music director serves as an advisory member of the executive board to ensure that the wishes and needs of the program and its students are being met.
