In our Lab......

Our Computer lab consists of forty Macintosh computers. Eighteen of the student computers are G-5 iMac's and twenty two of them are Intel iMac's with built in cameras. The teacher station is a G-5 iMac which enables students to learn from step-by-step instructions on a projection screen. The screen is a touch screen. We have two Xserve servers. One server stores all of our students' SRI (Scholastic Reading Inventory) records. Our other server stores each of our students' work which can be retrieved by their password and finished in their classroom.


What our students are doing.....
The software programs our students are using are.......Scholastic Reading Inventory, Microsoft Word, Keynote, Pages, PowerPoint, iMovie, Kid Keys, All the Right Type and Kid Pix. The students also use a web based Accelerated Reader program. All of our computers are networked to the Internet for student research. Teachers also teach on-line lesson plans to the students in each grade level. These lessons are provided by the school district.
