Overview

In this class students will be studying Geology, Astronomy, Oceanography, and Meteorology. Projects, labs, group work, individual work, and different types of assessment help us to explore the areas of earth science.


Objectives
1. To learn to appreciate science and the world we live in.
2. To learn to question and think about the world around you.
3. Understand and use the scientific method in different situations.
4. To realize the human aspect of science and the value of trial and error.
5. Understand and comprehend different concepts for yourself.
6. Develop the skills in which the student learns best.
7. Learn to work effectively with other people.
