Before you start...

Please confirm that Los Alisos is your assigned school by checking the School Locator

STEP 1

For students new to the district, SVUSD has set up an online data entry process that will help you get started with the enrollment process. You must do this before anything else. You must have a valid address within Saddleback Valley Unified School District attendance area to use this system. Verification of residence and immunizations will be required before you complete the enrollment process.

STEP 2

Once you have completed the online data entry process, your next step is to verify your child's enrollment eligibility.

There are several required documents you must have in order to complete the enrollment process.

• Two forms of Address Verifications: Utility bills (gas, water or electric only).
• Birth Certificate or Passport
• Proof of Immunizations: including the Pertussis vaccine required by law
• Printed online Registration Form
• Withdrawal from previous school:
• Final Report Card/Transcript or Withdrawal Grades
• Most recent Standardized Test Scores

STEP 3

Once you have assembled the required documents, you'll need to verify enrollment. Please call our Guidance Office at 949-830-9700 to set up an enrollment appointment with our Student Services Technician, Alejandra Castillo. alejandra.castillo@svusd.org

Once this is all completed, you may see below for any events occurring for continuing students (this only applies at the beginning of the school year).

Data Confirmation Process

All families must complete the Online Data Confirmation process before our Lobo Run (Registration Day) on August 1st (7th grade students) and August 2nd (8th grade students). If you are unable to attend this important event, please call the Los Alisos Front Office at 949-830-9700.

Data Confirmation will need to be completed through the Parent Portal before families attend our Lobo Run on August 1st and 2nd. A Parent Portal Account (not student account) is required in order to complete this (you should have completed this last year).  DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT IF YOU FORGOT YOUR INFORMATION. Click "forgot password" or call our office for your email username. If you are new to the district, please call our office for assistance. 

The process to complete Data Confirmation is as follows:

1. During the Data Confirmation Window (opens July 12th), go to the Parent Portal and follow prompts for completing Data Confirmation. There will be a number of items you must read and confirm within Data Confirmation such as our policies and emergency information for your child. (Use helpful screenshots instructions if needed)
2. Print the following form:

• Data Confirmation Signature Form / Annual Notification to Parents Signature Form)
• Emergency Card
• McKinney Vento 
• Any additional optional forms

3. Return to parent portal to complete the data confirmation process. 

Workshops

If you require assistance with completing Data Confirmation, we will be setting up English / Spanish workshop days in our computer lab to assist you in completing Data Confirmation. 

• Wednesday, July 26: 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm 
• Thursday, July 27: 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm
• Friday, July 28: 7:30 am - 12:30 pm 
• Monday, August 1: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
• Tuesday, August 2: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Before continuing with the required readings for Data Confirmation, you must first read the Annual Notification to Parents

• View Los Alisos Webstore (no spirit gear purchases will be made in person this year)
• Immunizations Required for 7th Grade

To attend class on the first day of school. please check Immunization Updates in addition to ensuring your 7th grader has verification of Tdap and VZV2 vaccinations. Please bring proof of these to the Los Alisos front office any time after July 27th. 

Student Medications

The Los Alisos front office will be unable to accept any student medications during our Lobo Registration. We will be available to accept these by a PARENT ONLY beginning July 28th; however, all medications must be accompanied by a “PARENT/GUARDIAN AND AUTHORIZED HEALTH CARE PROVIDER REQUEST FOR MEDICATION” form signed by a parent and doctor. This form can be found on the SVUSD website under Resources. You may email Sierra.CelayaMorrison@svusd.org for any questions or concerns (please note she may not reply to your emails until she returns from summer break in July.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for 2024-2025 School Year: August 14th, 2024

We are very sorry your child missed or is not able to attend Lobo Run on August 1st & 2nd.  It is very important that you call our Los Alisos Front Office once it reopens on July 27th to find out how you can register your child for school: 949-830-9700 ext. 0

Visit the Los Alisos Webstore to purchase a yearbook online through our school webstore. 

Every teacher will take some time during the first few days of school to explain the required materials, but there are a few staple supplies that every student should have.

The following school supplies will be provided for your student during registration:

• P.E. Clothes
• 3 ring binder
• Folders 
• Pencil bag
• College Ruled lined paper
• pens
• pencils
• Highlighters
• Colored Pencils
• ID card (required and will receive at Lobo Run)
• Minder Binder (required and will receive at Lobo Run)
• Charged Chromebook (required and will be available at Lobo Run)

Parents need to provide their students with a backpack if desired.
