Welcome to Mrs. Francis' English and AVID Classes!

English 2 is a college preparatory course following the California content standards for Language Arts. The course entails vocabulary development, English grammar, writing, and reading a variety of classics from world literature.

AVID 2 is the second year of the AVID elective course. AVID, which means advancement via individual determination, is a college readiness course designed to support students in the middle to attain their college dreams.

I am excited to be part of the El Toro High School Charger community and to be your teacher this year.
