The purpose of this site is to assist my students with additional information about the various authors and literary periods we will be studying. I am now trying to post weekly and long-term assignments but bear with me--sometimes deadlines change in class and the changes may not be immediately reflected on this site. PARENTS: I check my email three to four times a day. My voice mail has been down for quite some time and I am unable to access it. Therefore, if you want immediate feedback, please email me. I will get back to you within 24 hours. Thanks!



GRADE INFORMATION: Your student's grades can be accessed on-line. I update them as frequently as I can. Please be patient when an essay is involved as it takes me a little longer to grade those than a test, quiz or homework. Click on "What does my grade mean" for a complete description of what it takes to earn an A in my class.



RULES/SYLLABUS: Parents-if you didn't get a chance to thoroughly read through the rules/syllabus sheet before signing it, you can access it through this site. Click on the course title and scroll down to the Documents section. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you.



STUDENTS: If you have a printer "emergency" please email me your work and we can print it up here. You must email me in a WORD document in order for this to work. Please don't abuse this as ink and paper can be of a short supply.



PARENTS: Please stress the importance of revision to your students. If you know an essay due date is approaching, ask them if they have scheduled time to revise. Last minute efforts garner fewer points and bring down their scores. Your prodding will be beneficial. Thanks for your support and GO CHARGERS!
