Welcome!
I have been teaching at El Toro for 14 years, and I'm very proud of the accomplishments and level of excellence of the school. I am also a doctoral student in 20th century US History at UC Irvine, focusing on reading and literacy in the Progressive Era, and I'm working with the History Project at UCI as a liaison with Santa Ana Unified to develop 5th grade US History curriculum through a federal Teaching American History grant. Finally, I'm working with a program called Reading Apprenticeship, which develops literacy through content area learning.
Currently, my schedule is as follows: 3rd: US History 4th: Economics 5th: Economics 6th: US History 7th: US History
E-mail is the best way to contact me when necessary. Grades will be uploaded approximately every 2-3 weeks.

Think about... Every quarter pound of hamburger was produced via 100 gallons of water, 1.2 pounds of grain, a cup of gasoline, greenhouse-gas emissions equivalent to those produced by a six-mile drive in your average car, and the loss of 1.25 pounds of topsoil, every inch of which took 500 years for the microbes and earthworms to build. How can all this cost less than a dollar, and who is supposed to pay for the rest of it?
